CH 15 Destroying Terrain

In the General rules of CH 15,they imply that Terrain elements may be destroyed,Is this accurate?

The rules give S.P. for terrain in the General rules for doors to.Is the door card allowed to be destroyed as well?

Unless the mission allows it, you can't destroy terrain using weapons. Of course, since Damocles explain that doors can be destroyed in all the mission of this campaign, you can destroy it.
If, for example, another campaign is issued and doesn't say "you can destroy the doors", then no weapon will be able to blow it up and you will have to use combat engineer to open these uncooperative doors.
