He folks,
Can a Mechanic or a Medic still use his "repair" abilities after perfoming rush movement. While it seems OK via the rules it doesn't seem to fit with the vibe of rush movement. So what is the real answer? |

| Yes they can. Just like a unit can still perform overwatch after rushing. I agree it doesn't make to much sense, but rush movements is not a huge increase in speed. Most units are 14 cm and rush 20 cm. If they didn't do that then most people wouldn't rush for the extra 6 cm and lose the ability to medic/overwatch etc.. |

Yes.
Mechanics, medics, and Combat Engineers, are all in the equipment dept. They have nothing to do with, shooting, fighting, running, ect.
There is nothing better then rushing a Combat Engineer up to a unit with the shield formation drill, and blowing them up. _________________ Paramount's Kings Island, tear down that POS "Son of Beast" coaster, and build new with American Union Workers!! |

| ...just to add to this; an infantry unit can also do a rush movement and do a close combat. |

The nasty effects of heavy hitting melee units. _________________ Paramount's Kings Island, tear down that POS "Son of Beast" coaster, and build new with American Union Workers!! |

I think that's why no one in my group has done the shield formation drill. _________________ Junction City, Kansas (noun) a parasitic town that leeches off the sore underbelly of a local military base. |

We have. At least in the open battlefields of Op. Frostbite, where there isn't much cover. A Combat engineer is going to move at least 20 cm before it gets close enough to blow an AFV with the drill. If there aren't any around, you are quite safe - unless he uses transports, which you must proxy because they haven't been released yet.
But yes, we use the Shield Formation drill and no AFV has been yet blown up because of that. It's not that a combat engineer is going to pop up from nowhere just to blow things up. Hey, you could even use it to lure the enemy into a trap... |

Yeah! All the other games have a Charge Attack, so I'm glad AT-43 didn't eliminate it. |

Combat engineers with transporters. Give it time. _________________ Junction City, Kansas (noun) a parasitic town that leeches off the sore underbelly of a local military base. |
